Inbound Marketing Specialist- May 2016

TREW Marketing is seeking a inbound marketing specialist to join our growing agency in Austin, Texas focused in the B2B science, engineering and technology markets.

In this position, you will plan, project manage and execute diverse digital and inbound lead generation programs for TREW clients. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the areas of content writing, social media management/paid social, HubSpot marketing automation, process development and project management.

Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and able to jump into a fast-paced, multi-client agency while providing superior project management, working cross-functionally with account managers, and specialists including designers, developers, and writers.

As Inbound Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with account managers and other specialists to:

  • Build and execute content and SEO strategies for TREW Marketing
  • Bring creative AND methodical approaches to attract new visitors to the TREW Marketing website
  • Promote new TREW content on social media sites
  • Research, define personas and create conversion plans to pull new visitors through the funnel
  • Ensure a balance of efficient and on-budget execution with creative new approaches to meet and exceed objectives
  • Deliver analysis on digital marketing analytics and make recommendations to achieve desired client results
  • Collaborate, listen, and provide feedback to team members
  • Build trust with clients, turning them into our biggest fans
  • Develop project and meeting goals, agendas, timelines and summaries to ensure clear communication between clients and the TREW team

In addition to the above responsibilities, you may also be asked to:

  • Develop and/or edit marketing content
  • Create and deliver presentations
  • Work closely with designers and web developers to execute projects
  • Serve as a resource to other team members when needed
  • Attend and contribute to regular TREW team meetings

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated:

  • Excellent communication skills (presentation and written, in person and via phone)
  • Experience leading projects in search, web and inbound marketing
  • Experience utilizing marketing automation software and HubSpot-certified
  • Very strong initiative and resourcefulness; passion for creatively reaching win-win resolutions
  • Comfortable sharing opinions with clients, TREW team; assertive yet professional with clients when deadlines are missed, projects go beyond scope
  • Past work in B2B technology, particularly scientific and engineering markets
  • Past marketing agency experience
  • Embody the TREW values of collaboration, trust, and integrity with everyone

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years search, web/digital, inbound marketing experience, including as a growing member of a marketing team
  • Demonstrated successful project management and execution
  • Previous home-office experience preferred
  • Mobile phone

Based in Austin, TX, this is a full-time position requiring home office capabilities.  Compensation is commensurate with experience, and includes reimbursable expenses and an optional monthly stipend for health insurance. Most team and client meetings are held in the Austin Metro area as needed – travel may include 2-4 trips per year in the U.S.

Marketing Intern - Summer 2016

In the TREW Marketing Intern position, you will work with agency principals, account management and clients on a variety of marketing projects that help TREW and our clients attract and convert more visitors online.

Responsibilities will focus in the areas of web, content, social, search marketing and marketing automation. Example projects include social media planning and execution; content development such as news releases, case studies and feature articles for blog and web; content creation using inbound tools and best practices; and video creation and promotion.

In this position, you will work both independently as well as with the TREW team to complete projects. The position is virtual and you will be given a great deal of freedom to be creative, and will be held accountable just as other team-members are to deliver smart, high-quality ideas and work. Due to the remote nature, you must have strong communication skills and be comfortable meting regularly over the phone and staying in touch via email.

Requirements

  • Education – studying advertising, marketing, business, PR, or relevant field (or experience)
  • Experience with social media platforms and publishing, writing, communication management, web content, marketing automation, preferred video and photography work
  • Comfortable working in a virtual environment

  • Reliable computer and internet access
  • Experience working with business software and utilities, including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Dropbox, GoToMeeting, HubSpot, WordPress, Trello, Google Analytics
