Whether she's managing a client's complete marketing plan or focused solely on web redesign, Denise's emphasis on goal-driven strategies and proven processes translates to highly-effective marketing activities that drive results.
Denise has played a key role in developing TREW's web strategies and processes, and in leading major web redesigns for clients, such as DISTek, Alfamation, Bloomy Energy Systems, Bustec, and kDy Automation. Her involvement spans the life cycle of web projects, including web strategy development, usability and navigational path analysis, wireframing, QA testing and overall project management. In addition, Denise led TREW's search marketing efforts, developing the TREW methodology for natural search strategies and analysis.
Denise's interest and expertise in B2B websites stems from her many years in the trenches at National Instruments, where she served as Web Content Manager. In that role, Denise and her team were responsible for ensuring that every page of web content in the 1000-product online catalog and product marketing areas was accurate, compelling, and drove visitors to further engage with the company. Denise also managed a group of 18 multilingual specialists dedicated to executing marketing plans and activities throughout the 40-plus countries in which National Instruments sells directly, as well as helping shape corporate marketing development from a global perspective.
Prior to her 7 years at NI, Denise worked as a corporate copywriter and publications editor at an employment services franchisor. She received a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication and Spanish from the University of Tulsa, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Fluent in Spanish, Denise has volunteered as an ESL teacher for the Hispanic Mother/Daughter Program and as a medical interpreter at the Volunteer Healthcare Clinic in Central Austin. Denise currently resides in Boston, where her Spanish is not nearly as useful, but the Italian food is fabulous!
